# Quick setup: launch your community in 5 minutes

After you activate TrueCommunity, go through these five steps. Each one takes about a minute.

## 1. Give your community a name and address

Go to **TrueCommunity → Configuration**. Enter your **Community Name** and a **Community URL Slug**. The slug is the last part of the address, for example `community` gives you `yoursite.com/community`.

## 2. Add your logo

Go to **TrueCommunity → General**. Upload a logo for light mode and one for dark mode. They appear in the top-left corner of the community.

## 3. Choose your features

Go to **TrueCommunity → Modules**. Turn off any feature you do not need. For example, a course-only community can turn off Stories and Messages.

## 4. Set up your emails

Go to **TrueCommunity → Mail**. Add your sender name, sender email, logo and brand colour, and choose which events send an email.

## 5. Bring in your existing users

If your site already has users, go to **TrueCommunity → Migrate Users** and click **Start Migration** so they all appear in the community.

## You are ready

Visit your community address, write the first post, create a group or two and invite your members.

**Tip:** Every person who can log in to your WordPress site is a member. There is no separate sign-up — use your normal WordPress registration, or add users from **Users → Add New**.
