# Reset a student’s progress

**Pro feature:** This page needs TrueCommunity Pro.

Sometimes a student needs a fresh start. Open the course, click **Members**, and click **Reset Data** next to the student. Confirm with **Reset data**.

This permanently deletes the student's data for this course:

- completed lessons and topics
- quiz attempts
- video and timer progress
- assignment submissions

Their progress goes back to **0%**. The student **stays enrolled** in the course.

**Important:** This cannot be undone.
