# Review assignments

**Pro feature:** This page needs TrueCommunity Pro.

When a lesson has the **Must upload a file** rule (see [Lesson and topic rules](https://truecommunitypro.com/docs/lesson-rules/)), students upload their work right in the lesson. You review it in the **Assignments** tab of the course.

## Find assignments

- Filter by status: **All**, **Not Approved** or **Approved**
- Choose a lesson in **All lessons** or a student in **All students**
- Search by file name, student or lesson

## Approve

Tick one or more assignments and click **Approve selected**. Files that were approved automatically are marked "auto-approved".

## Give feedback

Click **Quick View** or the comments icon on an assignment and write feedback for the student. The student sees it in the lesson and can reply.

## Download or delete

Use **Download** to save a file, or **Delete** to remove it.

## What students see

In the lesson, students click **Upload files**. They see **Awaiting approval** until you approve, and your **Feedback** under their upload. Once approved, the lesson is complete.
