# Add sections and lessons

A course is built like a book:

- **Sections** are the chapters — for example "Planning", "Fieldwork", "Synthesis".
- **Lessons** are the pages inside each section.

Open your course and click the **Lessons** tab.

## Add a section

1. Click **+ Add Section**.
2. Type a name and click **Save**.

## Add a lesson

1. Click the **⋮** menu on a section.
2. Choose **Add lesson**.
3. Type the **Lesson title** and click **Add lesson**.

## Write the lesson content

Click the **⋮** menu on a lesson and choose **Edit**. The **Lesson Editor** opens, where you write the lesson with text, images, videos and more. Click **← Back to Lessons** when you are done.

## Reorder

Drag a section or a lesson by its **⠿** handle to move it. You can also drag a lesson into a different section.

## Delete

Use the **⋮** menu and choose **Delete**.

**Important:** Deleting a section also deletes all the lessons inside it. This cannot be undone.

**Tip:** Use the **Search course content…** box to find a lesson quickly in a long course.
