Add topics inside lessons

Topics break a lesson into small steps. For example, a lesson “Running interviews” could have the topics “Preparing questions”, “During the interview” and “After the interview”.

Add a topic #

1. Open the course and go to the Lessons tab.
2. Click the ⋮ menu on a lesson and choose Add topic.
3. Type the Topic title and click Add topic.

The topics appear under the lesson. Drag them to reorder.

Edit a topic #

Click the ⋮ menu on a topic:

• Edit — write the topic content in the Topic Editor
• Settings — the same rules as lessons: drip release, video, file upload, timer and more. See Lesson and topic rules.
• Delete — remove the topic

How students see topics #

Students open a lesson and see Topics in this lesson. They open each topic and click Mark topic complete. The lesson can only be finished when all its topics are complete.
