Gamification overview and setup

Gamification turns activity into rewards. Members earn points, climb ranks, collect badges and compete in challenges — and they keep coming back.

How it fits together #

Piece	What it is	Where you set it up
Activities	The actions you want to count, like “Completed a lesson” or “Published a post”	Gamification Pro → Activities
Badges	Awards members earn when they do certain activities. A badge can pay points.	Gamification Pro → Badges
Challenges	Time-limited contests. The top scorers win points.	Gamification Pro → Challenges
Points	The currency members collect from badges, challenges and lessons. Called XP by default.	Gamification Pro → Settings

Good to know: An activity on its own pays nothing. Points come from badges, challenges and the points for completing a lesson or topic.

Turn it on #

Gamification is off by default.

1. Go to TrueCommunity → Modules.
2. Turn on Gamification.
3. Click Save Changes.

A new Gamification Pro menu appears in your dashboard, and members get a Rewards page in the community.
